Artwork specs.
General Artwork Specifications
- Use one of our Downloadable Custom Templates to follow the artwork design requirements
- Make sure to embed all image assets and provide all typeface/fonts.
- Add your scratch area using the “Place SCRATCH Here” layer.
- Full color scratch areas print with a slight tint. We suggest avoiding the color white in the scratch area as white will appear as a light gray.
- Please leave enough space for the Security Control Number.
- Send your artwork files back in the file structure you used (Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop file).
- Save your files in its Layered Native Format (.AI or .PSD) and send to: graphics@scratchoff.com.
Using Canva?
Just follow the artwork specs listed above and share/download your artwork as “PDF – Standard”
Under the Scratch Area
- Go to: secure prize/item creator to enter the description and quantities for each prize/item to be printed under the scratch area. You will be able to see exactly how your prize/item will print under the scratch area.
- Be sure to include the non-winning quantities when using the secure prize/item creator.
- Total prize/item quantities need to match the quantity you ordered.
- If your card design has multiple scratch areas on the card, please still use the secure prize/item creator to enter your prize/item description along with the quantiles for each item.
- Using custom images/fonts/colors under the scratch area:
- Contact your project coordinator for details on submitting your information.
- You will receive an artwork proof of all the information under the scratch area prior to production.
Artwork Design Examples
It’s important to keep any required design elements within the card “Safe Zone” and away from the scratch area as there can be slight shifts in the application process.
