General Artwork Specifications
To make sure your job is proofed and produced quickly and seamlessly, we ask that you:
1. Design in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, and be sure to:
- Include bleed and safe area
- Embed all images and assets
- Provide all typefaces and fonts
2. Please leave enough space for the security control number
3. Save your file in its layered native format (.AI or .PSD) and send to graphics@scratchoff.com.
Creating a Custom Pull Tab
When creating a custom pull-tab card, please follow the instructions above and please mind the following…
1. Each pull tab needs to be the minimum size of .5”x.5”.
2. Each pull tab needs to be at least .375” inches away from the cut line.
3. Each pull tab needs to be at least .25” away from each other.
4. Much like the safe zone around the card, each pull-tab will need their own version of a safe zone. Please design within .0725” inside of the perforated area(s) as well as .0725” outside of the perforated area(s).
5. To indicate your pull-tabs, please use a dotted red line for the perforated area and a solid red line for the hinged area. (If you are using a red background color, the lines may be changed to a different color so that it may stand out more).

Easy! Just follow the artwork specs listed above and share/download your artwork as PDF – Standard.

The safe zone of the card is an area to keep important information and design elements within. During the cutting process, there can be a slight shift on some cards. We caution our customers to avoid borders around the card.
